I actually quite enjoyed the Catherine games.

The Jao game had some creative ideas, it was my favorite.

Hmpf, should have read the heading more thoroughly (missed the vote for the favorite three part). Voted for Huayna, but the Joao of Brazil and Julius giant Roman Empire would be my 2 other choices. (with the Great Khan being fourth)

The most fun to play was probably MONTY. Out-teching financial leaders while running such a strict SE game and pillaging every damned cottaged tile to nothing, ending with a massive nuclear war against Cyrus amd Pacal. Well, just doesn't get any better!

Mao II was certainly ALOT of fun as there was always something catastrophic to endanger the game, and staling 23 techs in an espionage game is just great bragging material,

JC and Al III were certainly entertaining, Al probably more so. JC was a forgone conclusion halfway, Al relied on an artillery rush to beat a stronger AI!

Regarding Khan, there is a warm spot for my first RPC (and 50 razed cities!) but in my mind it's always a little tainted because it was a Prince difficulty game (the only one). One reason I added the open suplemntal game (which I am still playing out!).
