This turnchat will be on Saturday 21st June at 1200 GMT (1300 Local Time, 1400 Central European time) The turnplayer will be me, and if i am too hungover (ie :sleep:) from exam celebrations, then dutchfire is the backup turnplayer and would start an hour from the given time (1300 GMT) :)

Please post instructions for me to follow on Saturday afternoon.

It will be offline if i take play it and if dutchfire plays it then it will be online, i am assuming.

HOw long am i playing, what units do i need to build?

How long until i declare war (BTW i would feel better if someone else did the campaign, the only civ i have played in the last three weeks was last night and well, that ended badly. So if i play up to the declaration of war then the next person can make a better job of it. :))

I am going to play it in an hour, to see if anyone response.

If not, then i intend to play 9 turns and build up our forces with a mix of WE and cats with a spearman thrown in.

I am basing this on the discussion in the Strategy Academy thread

Summary:

Turn 0 (Turn 138): Worker near City 6 builds cottage. Cats near Arkadia, move into Arkadia WE near Kassite moves to Arkadia

Turn 1: OB with Maya, scout in Machu Picchu moves towards Mayan sea territory
Workers near NG moves to build mine on plain hill WE built in Kassite sent to Arkadia building courthouse

Turn 2: Catapult built in NG sent to Arkadia, build WE


Turn 3: Edorai builds WE and is now building cat

Turn 4: Arete finish WE, builds cat

Turn 5: Workers near Kassite sent to the main territory.

Turn 6: NG builds WE now building cat and Edorai finish cat now building WE

Turn 7: Workers from Kassite buld road to Iron mine north of Edorai. Finished Civil Service, start Metal Casting to get forges

Turn 8: Met Churchill, leader of the Vikings. Sign OB with him to explore his lands

Turn 9: Last turn: Arete finishs cat, builds axeman

Spanish Intel:

Barcelona: Axeman, Archer + Cat
Madrid: 2 Swordsmen and a spearmen
Toledo: swordsmen, 2 Spearmen, Archer
Seville Axemen archer, 1E to it has a Swordsmen, and axeman.

We met Churchill of the Vikings and signed an OB with him as well as Maya, we have researched Civil Service and are now researching Metal Casting. We are definitly ready for war now.

Sounds like a great TC, if you haven't already patched though, could you upload some pics?

I got jumpy and patched.
