Long time lurker, havent posted in a long time.

Just wondering if anyone has thought that the Space Race option comes a bit too quick after Apollo Program, there should be prerequisites such as 'Mission to the Moon', 'Commercial Satellites', 'Space Station', 'International Space Station' and then maybe 'Launch of colony ship'

Any thoughts?

Erm, Building the Apollo program probably means you sent a person to the moon and back offscreen, and now you're willing to send somebody into the beyond.

Like the Manhattan project.

Also, I like the space race as it is now - Keeps it nice and simple.

'Commercial Satellites',

Corporations + Satellites = Commercial Satellites

'Launch of colony ship'

You are, to colonize Alpha Centuari. Would you really want to live on the moon( or Mars)

Like Genv said, the Apollo project was the manned mission to the moon.

Just gotta use your imagination; not everything needs a building or project.

I have been increasing my game completion rate recently but only have won via space once; by a hair. It seems to be pretty well timed and executed. The parts add enough complexity to the process and you still need to consider diplomacy and war.

Well I would.

Alpha Centauri is 4.3 ly (38 000 000 000 000 km) away. Going from landing on the Moon to building an inter-stellar spaceship that can cross those kinds of distances is a bit too much. I think the OP just wants an "in-between" step that can make it more realistic.
