After d/loading patch 1.22, conquests says please insert conquests disk.
I have to re-install the whole thing justs to play! :mad:

Did conquests load up with the disk in the CD drive before patching up to 1.22? This might be an obvious question, but do you have the disk in the CD drive when you load up the game after patching to 1.22? There are others with a similar error, check through the forums for it.

Yes, i had the disk in the cd drive. I tried it both ways, in and out.

I believe this is a SecuRom problem. It was introduced in one of the patches. It is checking for blacklisted apps and thinks it has a pirated game. I think it was 4.6 or 4.7. Search on SecuRom to get the low down.

I have the 4/2/2004 patch update and have no problems. I have installed so many time on several machines. I had the problem with to 1.20 or one of the 1.22 patches, forget the details now.
