I crash to desktop in Conquests whenever the space race victory movie tries playing. I've tried some ideas on here with no luck so far.

Also tried disabling sound acceleration with no luck. Playing with keep res off, no intro, renaming the file...etc. Nothing has worked :(

Cant see any solutions for it on google either.

I get the same thing happening with my game. I add the line NoSound=1 to the conquests config file and the movie plays with no sound, but also no crash.

Tried that. Didnt work. Now my savegame wont load because I upgraded to v1.22 :\

No mention of any fix to this in those patch notes though.
