Will there be a Colonization game of the month? Is there enough variation to justify a regular contest game?

You are probably best off asking ainwood or the GOTM staff directly, since I'm not sure they'll see this thread. It is an interesting decision...certainly playing the same map(s) will make it so there can't be much randomness.

In the original Colonization, you could build your own map using a map editor. Just like in all of the civ games, in Colonization you could play scenarios or have the computer generate a random map for you, or you could choose the map settings to be generated. This allow for lots of variety I think, it should be looked into.
