View Full Version : Golden age bug? (3.13, 3.17)

Frequently when playing 3.13 the economic and production bonuses would continue after a golden age has ended:
- The gold per turn would remain at the GA or above many turns after the GA.
- Opening a city screen during a GA would show 150 hammers (example). 15 to 20 turns after the GA, opening the screen would still show 150 hammers.
After an arbitrary number of turns, usually a lot, the production and commerce would return to normal. In my latest game (3.17) I have had 2 GAs. In both, the GPT has returned to normal right after the GA, but the production bonus continues for a few turns after the GA and then goes away. I usually play with only the BUG mod, and it happens with both XP and Vista.

Any ideas?

Honestly I haven't noticed anything like that before. Any time I think my :hammers: total seems unusually high from just glancing at my BFC, when I sit there and manually count up the hammers + any possible AP bonus, it always adds up.

Is it possible that your city was constructing a building that your Leader gets a bonus to after the Gage? A save or screenie of the issue would help :-)

Can you provide a savegame from just before the GA ends?

The next time it happens I will do exactly that. Thanks.
