Would I be right in thinking, if you give water walking to a privateer, it will be able to land-walk and sail across the desert?

Is that normal and right?

Or have I modded something to bug out this way?

Did that happen?

you could just change it in the world builder.

It happened in my modmod. I just wondered if the waterwalking is what caused it. I could test, but I thought I'd ask instead because I have other bugs to create! busybusy.

Um...don't sound right to me. Sounds like a codin bug. Or maybe jus a general bug that results cuz the computer knows you can already have a ship on water and it figures since water walkin makes land units walk on water, water walkin should make ships go on land. Prolly never showed up before cuz the program never had a ship with water walkin before.

Sounds less like a bug and more like an undefined border case. It's likely the <bWaterWalking> tag for promotions is simply coded to allow movement over any non-impassable terrain, so applying it to a ship would allow the ship to move over land.

Personally I like the idea of it allowing ships to travel inland. Could be a nice quirk for the Lanun or some such.
