Can someone please tell me exactly how to install Conquests and get it working? I ran the install wizard and it created a folder called infogames with Conquests in it, but Conquests said it couldn't find certain files that it evidently needed.
A step by step guide would be quite appreciated

Do you have Civ3 already installed? Conquests is an expansion pack, and needs the original game.

Yes i definitely have Civ III installed, i Play it all the time. Its in a folder called Dexcorp in C:/Program files, whereas the expansion, after going through the install wizard, goes into a new folder called Infogames in C:/Program files

You will need to specify where your Civ3 is when you install Conquests, then, because it assumes the default "Infogrames".

I havent a clue why it says Dexcorp, but it does.... That was the way it was when i installed Civ III. I did try specifying but there was this file it said it couldnt find called IFC23.DLL... if you happened to have this file and could pass it on to me that'd be great? (:

Ok so i just googled the file name and it turns out tons of people have this problem and it can easily be downloaded, which i have done. BUT now that Conquests has its files, its saying please insert the Civ3 Conquests Disc which i dont have, as i just downloaded Conquests from a thread on this site. So..... solution anyone? Iv also put in my Civ3 disc but all that wants to do is install Civ3

You couldn't have downloaded Conquests from this site. You *could* have downloaded a patch for Conquests.

You need to purchase Conquests in order to install it, then you can patch it, if necessary.

Ooooooh that makes alot of sense. Turns out i did download the patch. Ill be back in five days when i have Conquests. Thanks for the consistent help Padma.
Is there any way to change the name of a thread you've posted? Cos in retrospect this thread should really be called "How to solve the missing IFC23.DLL file problem", not "How to install Conquests", as thats all this thread explains...

I changed the thread title to "Problem installing Civ 3 Conquests Expansion". ;)
