Hi civ fans,
the in-game voice chat in closed games with friends doesn't work. I would like to find out if the problem is on my side (port forwarding etc.) or if you have similar problems.

To enable voice chat I enter the diplomacy menu and select my buddy. There are options like "mute" and "chat". When "chat" is enabled, there is a phone symbol in the diplomacy overview. My buddy does the same but we can't hear eachother.

I've got a Playstation Eye, he's got a standard bluetooth headset. When we exit Civ Rev and start a standard voice/video chat via the XMB, it works fine everytime. Only Civ shows no reaction to enabling voice chat.

My friend and I had no problems with voice chat in the MP demo we played. We made sure that we had voice chat icon show up just before launching the game, and had open mic all throughout our match. We had to fiddle around with it, a bit and I actually had to go into my XMB (thank goodness for 2.40) to make sure my mic was enabled.
