I have installed Civ III:Complete hoping to get rid of a problem I developed in Civ:Conquests. Selecting Multi-Player Hotseat takes me directly to MultiPlayer Setup screen, bypassing the Multiplayer Lobby. This turns out to be a dead end as most of the screen is inoperable, including the Exit button. Drop downs don't work and little else seems to function. I eventually have to do an End Task to get out.

I've got a golfing buddy staying with me for the weekend and we wanted to try out Hotseat in between rounds. Instead we're watching old re-runs of Caddyshack! Help!!

Has anyone heard of this problem?

Someone with expertise please reply! I have the exact same problem, only it's not just hotseat...it's also pbm, and when I host an internet/lan game!!
I'm running on xp btw.
