Good idea for a thread. I'll come back and post mine when I get access to my DS again.

to find your friend code go to the main menu and wifi connection (once you started the game) and then go to manage friend codes. an option should say 'my friend code' and it should be there

I'm online occasionally as "maq", usually evenings -6GMT. How does organising a game with a specific friend even work? Haven't tried yet. The friends part looks unpolished though.

Only played 4 games to completion so far. Won them all because players seem to drop out a lot, even when you capture only one of their cities. 4 player games seem to lag a lot more so I prefer not to play those.

I have tried obtaining games both via "Challenge Friends" and "Challenge Anyone" and I have yet to connect online.

This seems to be prevalent with all versions of the game.

Hi folks, just arrived here after playing a fair bit of CivRev DS against some of my friends in an Advance Wars community. The wifi multiplayer is pretty cool, though not without a few minor bugs - but all things considered they've done a pretty good job. Sadly it lacks any sort of foyer or ranking system, so if you don't want to play the lottery that is challenge anyone (oh wow, they disconnected AGAIN...) the best thing to do is to arrange a time for a friend match. I started a meebo room (http://www.meebo.com/room/civrevds/) specifically to function as a CivRev DS foyer, this works much better than adding a load of friends and waiting for one of them to happen to be online at the same time as you.
