I did the recent windows update, dont get me started with firewall issues.

Trying to load saved C3C games and get DATAIO ERROR- operation system error date. after clicking the OK button on the pop up the message says cant read the saved file.

This happened on about 6 files I tried. I could open some but not others

If I missed a link for this I apologize as an old guy my searching talents are weak

If you've upgraded or patched Civ 3, then this could happen when you try to open games saved from the earlier version.

I would scan/search this subforum for "DataIO" or "Data IO".
