Play.com have put Civilization IV Colonization up on their website as a preorder with a date of sept 26th 2008 for the release.

No doubt there will be other pre order prices on other websites to come. No doubt the date will also change as well.

Its reassuring i can put some money down on it today knowing it will arrive on date of release :D

I think its about 1.4 Euros to the Pound. To be fair this is the exact price the original game came out at. I suspect sendit.com will do it for 12.98 like last time.

If HMV go £17.99 I get 9-10% cashback on quidco.

End of the day if you want something new you have to pay the higher price.

Bit like DVDs here. Pre release they are £10ish on release about £14. Maybe 8-10 for some in the supermarkets. 5-6 months later you pay £5 for them in the sale. You pay a premium for having something first.
