:hmm: the install path does not look as usual - is this a digital distribution? or how did you end up with BtS not being a subdirectory of Civ4?

Civ Complete - I believe has each Game in its own directory - if I recall a few other troubleshooting threads in recent history.
But then I don't see any image attached to this post?
I generally only get those type of Python errors when modifying python files that have extra inits() - while the game is running.
Otherwise clear out the cache folder, usually
Docs&Settings\USER\Local Settings\My Games\Beyond the Sword\cache
"Local Settings" is a hidden folder, go in with a command prompt, or enable hidden folders in explorer - or use a real File Browser :-)

What would clearing the cache do, if I may ask? I tried to find this cache, just in case it would help me somehow, but I couldn't seem to make "local settings" appear... Likely because I can't figure out how to make hidden folders appear. I'm guessing the "my games" folder under "my documents" doesn't count, especially since there was no cache in there.
