I've followed the instructions... seemed simple at first glance. after extracting to bts/mods folder, I load the mod no problem, select a scenario civ etc. as the programs starts to load the game it crashes any suggestions?

If you have BtS patched to version 3.17 the mod should work. Scenarios made for BtS won't probably work and they will all crash at start up. You can only use scenarios made specifically for RoM. I have converted few maps to RoM settings and tested that they launch properly. Basic v2.2 doesn't have these maps included but RoM:RevDCM+BUG version has few. Version 2.3 will have maps included and if other players convert more maps to RoM I can include them as well to the next patch.
