I really hope someone can help me. I feel like I must be missing something. I finally got a copy of Civ 4 for Mac. I'd looked at the system requirements and was barely meeting them so figured I'd give it a shot. When I went to install the game though it just don't work. It gives me an error message saying the game requires at least 1mb of disk space, please free up more disk space
When I go to aspyrs site and check game compatibility all of my specs are okay (including supposedly the graphics card) except at the end of the list it says "Video Card Intel" and then an X by my computer. I'm more than willing to update my graphics card if that's the problem, but how do I know and what should I get

Hi, welcome :wavey:

Have you followed the instructions to install Civ4? You have to copy the entire Civ4 folder from the DVD onto your hard drive, and then double click the Civ4 icon in the hard drive copy. You can't run it directly from the DVD.

thanks. i guess I did forget the obvious thing. was really excited to start playing. I'm a good bit older than a lot of those playing so i'm very grateful for the computer help.
