I was just wondering what is the highest score ever achieved? Along with that I would like a pic for proof. Sorry if this has been already discussed by I can't find any thread related to this.

Hi - don't know about the highest score ever, but the Hall of Fame tables have a slot for score. The highest I can see there is Killercane with an insane score of 1,085,334 for a huge immortal domination game. This is a verified Hall of Fame game, using the HoF mod, so no need for pictures to prove it ;)

I expect higher scores could be achieved without using the Hof Mod, because as I understand it the Mod rules out the use of various exploits. So it really depends which "highest" score you're looking for ...

Wow! The highest I have gotten is around 37,000. Makes me look bad...

Which victory gives you the most points? I am assuming domination considering the example you gave above is, domination.

Domination gives the most points because you have to rule quite a bit of land and have quite a bit of population (both affecting score) to reach the requirements for a Domination victory. The quicker you win, the higher the score you achieve too, which leads to low scores with both Time and Space Race vicotries.

Based on mouseover during the game, score seems to be achieved by a combination of land/culture, population, technologies, and wonders. An earlier finish date will increase the score as well. I'm sure that someone else will reply with the computer code and the math that calculates score.

I have gotten scores over 100K with Conquest, Domination and Religious victories.

My personal high was on a Major Gauntlet. It was a large domination on emperor for 329k.
