I really admire and appreciate this map for it's massive game play changes and additions that really re-define the game, but I don't really like the civic system and technology tree that is being used. I want to keep the extra resources and the future technologies from the NextWar mod and such, but I'm not sure how I could change those files without screwing up the whole mod.

Is there something I could do to actually make this happen or anyone willing to help me with this? I would be extremely grateful is someone would help me out.

Gosh, I wish it was simple. Reverting the tech tree requires changing everything attached to a given technology in the game, altering AI behavior, and who knows what else.

Civics wouldn't be much easier, as you'd also have to adjust AI behavior and remove the current civics and replace them with the old ones.

Though, if I may suggest...try Keldath's wonderful modpack, Overlord 2. Simpler tech tree (Better, in my opinion), has just as many resources, and while it does change civics, they aren't as deeply reaching as RoM's are.

Yes, there is a simple solution to your problem. If you want the future units and such with original tech tree and civics, play Next War as a Mod instead of as a Scenario. Load up BTS vanilla, go to load a mod under advanced, select Next War, then start a game as normal.

Without the civics, techs, units, and gameplay changes, there wouldn't be a RoM! It's kind of the point of mega-mods to fundamentally change the gameplay. The NextWar mod itself doesn't change anything from vanilla BTS untilt he future era (as far as I remember anyways).

What you're asking for is totally not RoM! IIRC, there is/was a mod called "Extra" that does basically what you want though. It added the NextWar stuff into a normal game.

Yea, but it also has a radical change to the civic system. >_>
