I'm sure this has been addressed elsewhere but I haven't had any luck finding a previous mention.

I'm playing a standard size earth map and I am in modern times with only 9 civs left in the game. I'm used to being plauged with random crashes but I am stuck now as someone declares war on me and the game crashes immediately afterwards.

I've heard that there's a way to increase the amount of memory that Civ uses which might help performance in late game, anyone know how to do this?

Don't think it's memory... if you check the bug threads, you'll find info on the late game CTDs. Lot's of people are trying to track the bug, and it seems to have to do with units or animations of one of the modified or new civs. Sometimes reloading works, sometimes have to start new games ;/ Zappara is working diligently on finding the problem, should be fixed in a later patch... until then, see if you can help us find the problem!

My girlfriend already wrote over the savegame unfortunately, i realized I should post that a little too late. I'll replay the same map with only the civilizations that were left when I crashed and see if I can duplicate the crash.
