Is anyone interested in helping create a Columbus Scenario, very similar to the game Colonization, where you can be 9 civs (English, Spanish, Dutch, French, Portuguese, Iroquoi, Aztec, Inca and Arawak) (maybe more civs?)

I want only Europe and all of North and South America as the map (very large map).

I will recreate the terrain graphics and so on to suit the time.

But what I need help with is things like who were the kings and queens of the time, who had what amount of power/money/resources, city/village names, the types of units each of the civs have, etc. Stuff like this I don't know much about.

I want to include special units aswell. Like Christopher Columbus, 3 boats (was it 3?), which have different stats to the normal ones.

If you are the indians/aztecs/etc, chances are you'll be attacked by the Spanish, so if you chose to be them, your game would be about survival.
If you chose a european civ, you'd be looking for more land and wealth (since the other euro civs are, and you don't want to get left behind), so you'd all be racing over as much as you can.

The PtW expansion would be a great help, because it has heroes in it, and I'd like to make a few heroes.

But anyway, anyone interested in helping?

I'd like to include Africa into the game aswell as they played a part in colonizing the new world.

Hey, Snoopy I was already thing on the same lines (and had been thinking your new terrain set would be perfect). I haven't got time to work on units before Aug 9 but I had started a thread and had already come up with the most appropriate leaders/civs.

I would definitely be willing to do the leaderheads.

Although you're going to have a hard time finding a leader for the Arawaks, they're virtually extinct and to my knowledge never really unified under anyone like the Incas, Aztecs, Mayans, Iroquois, and Cherokee.

Here's a link to that thread Colonial/Pirate Mod (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27863)

I actually found a leader for the Arawaks(Taino)!

Agueybana led a rebellion against Ponce de Leon on Puerto Rico while de Leon was governor. Apparently Agueybana had been an important leader of one of the tribes that lived on Puerto Rico.

Hey snoopy. Im actually working on a mesoAmerican mod at the moment. How bout I help with the "ancient S american civs (Aztec,Inca,Maya and any others you want) and you work on the European and North American? I will gladly give you units and help if needed. JimmyH has also created a few aztec units also for my mod. Download the units from

http://www.81x.com/thomson_2001/mesoamericamod

This scenario sounds like it has more scope than my "simply mesoamerican" mod so Id love to work on it!

If you want to give it to Fraxis I dont think you can use the units by JimmyH as they are from AoE.

I think its possible to get this done for Aug 9, but if you want to give it to Firaxis, like Level said, the units all have to be Fixaris or completely original!

(and yes I intended to spell it Fix-aris cause they spend more time fixing that creating)
