View Full Version : Helen of Troy Animated Leaderhead Preview.
GhengisFarb Aug 01, 2002, 06:35 AM You see the preview pics lower down in the thread.
Any comments or suggestions/ideas for the next three ages would be helpful.
I will be playtesting the set, and then uploading it after any glitches have been worked out.
Righteous Fist Aug 01, 2002, 09:22 AM Great Work, you are the master of Leaderheads.
Civanator Aug 01, 2002, 09:30 AM nice, the last one looks kinda funny cause she is mad. Maybe when gracious she could look like she wants to kiss you. ;)
GhengisFarb Aug 01, 2002, 10:51 AM Thanks, Righteous Fist

I wanted her look aloof and snooty in a "I'm the most beautiful woman in the world" kinda way which is why she isn't looking at you in the first and last frames.
But I may go back and redo the facial expressions.
joespaniel Aug 02, 2002, 11:46 PM Your Ghengis Khan leaderhead is still my favorite.
 I got scared just looking at the damn cartoon!
Well done. :)

Which civ did you use her for? Remember you have to rename every file to the corresponding name of the original Civ Leader.
bnmac3 Aug 05, 2002, 07:01 PM Sorry ghengis I am a dumbass...sorry
Chris85 Aug 07, 2002, 04:23 PM I love that GengisFarb.com over 21 site, it kicks ass. Who could of thought that Helen of Troy had such a nice rack. :satan:
Hey Gengis, maybe you could pitch this as your slogan.
"You'll know it's good 'cause it leaves you with wood." :D
thomson_2001 Aug 08, 2002, 04:18 AM one thing about the flics...and its not a bad point, but boy do THEY bounce! Its like THEY have a life of their own! Its great!...except when they hypnotise you into giving the greeks all your money and techs, ah well never mind.

Shhh! That was one of the reasons I tried it in the first place. When PTW comes out you'll be playing against other people when they start to negotiate with you.....
"Well. I better trade with the Greeks to see if they have any techs to sell me...
....Whoa! Hellooooo Helen! Yeah....(bounce bounce)....sounds good.....(bounce bounce).........nice doing business with the two of you.... (bounce bounce)....
........Hey, what the ? I'll I got was Warrior Code! Where did that 6000 gold go........."
nonnob3 Aug 08, 2002, 01:38 PM And boy how they bounce :D  :D (My wife was asking me how can that be possible? )

(In my game with the diplomacy editor form Pesoloco(BTW Thank you for making this great program :goodjob: ) just imagine the phrases that Bresta Red says when thier are treaties :D )
Great work GhengisFarb!
Kilroy Aug 08, 2002, 01:45 PM I think those are a bit big, considering that Helen was around 15 at the time the war started - so the story goes.
Are you the same guy who made the amazon leaderheads?

Probably the second most used(by me) utility after Flicster.

I did two that were posted here a month ago.

[The digital world is one step farther away from reality than Hollywood is..........]
that is true :p
Civ Commando Aug 08, 2002, 03:02 PM is it just me, or do her boobs get bigger through the ages?
sween32 Aug 08, 2002, 03:20 PM hehehe... time to harras the greeks...
i've probably already told you this but this is your best leaderhead yet!

Hmmmm, now THAT'S an idea.........
(If I started Jessica Rabbit in Ancient Times I wouldn't need facial expressions by Modern Times cuz you couldn't see her face.........meaning less work for me............)

Thanks, are you working on a Castro leaderhead or did Bill Clinton move to Cuba?
sween32 Aug 08, 2002, 03:53 PM Nah. I made a Fidel real quick just for my avatar. Most of it (like the grey in his beard and his hat) were done in Photoshop cause I couldn't get them that way in Poser. First in line for leaderheads is still Robert the Bruce but Jasc won't be here until early next week. Until then, I'm working on what I really need to... units for my mod.
Vasili Sep 23, 2003, 06:57 PM Great work Ghengis.
Ar-Iluvatar Mar 26, 2004, 01:35 PM GenghisFarb, great work, man!!!
One of Catherine Zeta-Jones' first acting role was as a very hot Catherine the Great in a TV miniseries here in the US about 13 or so years ago.
Could you, perhaps, create a leaderhead of her as Catherine the Great (the default one that the game provides is just plain disgusting)?
Please do it, man--YOU ROCK!!!
Goldflash Mar 27, 2004, 02:50 PM While normally I would yell at you for bumping an old post.. I'm just going to stare at Helen of Troy :groucho:
The Last Conformist Mar 27, 2004, 05:43 PM I must confess I've never seen the true greatness of GhengisFarb's leaderheads, so I'll take the opportunity to YELL at Ar-Iluvatar (nice name, BTW, and wellcome to CFC!), as well as Vasili, who apparently escaped unscathed from his pretty extreme bump back in September.
tjedge1 Mar 28, 2004, 01:01 PM  fetishes for some peeps.
Ghenghis is a great animator, but the bounce is a little extreme.
I do wish though he had posted that Ghenghis Kahn leader he was working on. Anyone know if it was ever finshed. It would fit nicely in my mod for Ethengar.
Supa Mar 28, 2004, 01:40 PM AFAIK, it isn't finished. At least, not uploaded.
As his website is currently offline and his upload capability quasi null, we'll have to wait he finishes his military thing. Any news ?
Roman Legion May 09, 2006, 04:56 PM man, I want to download this, is he ever going to be on to upload it? I really want this LH. and sorry for bumping up an old post, in this case it was nessesary for me to ask th question I wrote above.
odintheking May 09, 2006, 05:11 PM Ummmm.... Ghengis Farb hasn't even visited civfanatics in over a year, and you bumped a thread over two years old. You're not a newb, man; you've been around longer than I have. Stop acting like one. He's not finishing it.
Stormrage May 09, 2006, 06:16 PM You're not a newb, man; you've been around longer than I have. Stop acting like one
Ditto, oh so very much...
Goldflash May 09, 2006, 07:38 PM While normally I would yell at you for bumping an old post.. I'm just going to stare at Helen of Troy :groucho:
Wow. According to this, I was yelling at people for bumping dead threads Nine days after I joined CFC.
odintheking May 09, 2006, 08:49 PM Wow! Congrats, Goldflash,
Rambuchan May 10, 2006, 11:23 AM This may have been a booby bump but it was worth it ok!
It brings an entirely new meaning to the phrase "a boob job". In fact, this has to be one of the best set of Leader Boobs that's ever been made, finished or not. It's good to have a representative of "the boobs that launched a thousand ships" and I think that boobs are booby booby boobs booby... Ok!
thadiam May 10, 2006, 12:48 PM He's not finishing it.
Actually, he did finish it. Not totally sure anymore, but I think you can get it at Apolyton.
Plotinus May 10, 2006, 01:20 PM Now look what you've done. Rambuchan will never be the same again. Don't you know he's specifically not allowed to be exposed to such booby boobs, on doctor's orders?
I have to say, we see big bumps in the unit forum on a regular basis, but I don't think I've ever seen a preview thread bumped like this before. And yes, I do believe that LH is available somewhere or other, just not here.
Goldflash May 10, 2006, 01:33 PM Is the veryfirst leaderhead listen on apolyton.
http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?sid=811207972&id=1207&t=reviews&toprate=5.0000&tophits=5771&cat=267
Rambuchan May 10, 2006, 01:47 PM I think I'll manage Plotinus. If I said that some field training had hardened me to the task, you'd probably think I was being smutty, and you'd be quite right. So let's just say that I'll make it through this encounter, I'll live another day, to see another boob (or two).
Now, what bumping this thread has done is got me to complain about the state of the Leaderhead library that's stickied to this forum. Frankly, it's a bit of a shambles. Have any of you guys checked it out?
Goldflash May 10, 2006, 01:54 PM It is wholey in shambles.... tottaly. Maybe someone should go and start a good library.. and..
*sigh* I'll do it... Just give me some time.
Roman Legion May 10, 2006, 03:10 PM sorry, I know I shouldnt have Bumped it, but I REALLY WANT THIS LH, to me it was worth it, once again sorry, I know im not a noob(Thinking Within "but if I was? humm)
The Last Conformist May 10, 2006, 03:16 PM Personally, I find it more freakish than attractive.
odintheking May 10, 2006, 04:51 PM Personally, I find it more freakish than attractive.
Like Pamela Anderson?
woodelf May 10, 2006, 05:10 PM Freakish in a way like a car accident.... ;)
Roman Legion May 10, 2006, 06:05 PM well, I like it, no wait I love it!!!!!
Mithadan May 11, 2006, 10:02 AM Like Pamela Anderson? Now that is freakish! *cringe*
The Last Conformist May 11, 2006, 11:16 AM I've only ever seen Ms Anderson in still images, so if her breasts bounce around freakishly, I'm happily unaware of it. :)
Mithadan May 11, 2006, 01:18 PM Oh no, it's the face that does it. The "hole-in-an-oil-tanker" eyes, the "collagen-and-punched-in-the-mouth" lips and the train wreck in-between. Talk about not aging gracefully!
Heretic_Cata May 11, 2006, 01:58 PM Oh no, it's the face that does it. The "hole-in-an-oil-tanker" eyes, the "collagen-and-punched-in-the-mouth" lips and the train wreck in-between. Talk about not aging gracefully!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brilliant! Simply brilliant! :rotfl:
Mithadan May 12, 2006, 10:29 AM Why thank-you. I was especially proud of Pammy when she attacked the annual Newfie seal hunt whilst hosting the Junos. Obviously she's got a brain match the face!
