OMG! Marla's World Map doesn't work with 1.29
I've tried two games with 1.29 and have had crashes both times with the following message.
".\art\units\pirogue\pirogue.ini"
What a disaster. This is the worst patch ever;)

You don't think the "priogue" unit has anything to do with it?
Edit the scenario and remove the "pirogue".

A pirogue is a Polish dinner, like an eggroll made out of cabbage.

load the map into the editor, set the proper start locations and then save it. Should be no prob.

It's a cabbage and beef filling, wrapped in a thin skin of dough, then boiled to cook everything, and before it's served you lightly fry it. Lotsa fat, lotsa greese, very delicious. You can also use cherries or cottage cheese filling. Now aside from this culinary lesson, WTF does it have to do with Marla's map again?

".\art\units\pirogue\pirogue.ini"
means that this file is missing. This is an art file for a custom unit that Marla added. You need the full directory of this art work to make it work as Marla intended. Alternatively you can just remove this unit in the editor (IIRC, England and Japan can build it, form the start of the the game to compensate for them being on small islands). Firaxis would know nothing about this art file as it is not a standard part of Civ3.
