Hi. I'm not sure if I should have put this here, and if I put it in the wrong section, a mod please move it. Its just a simple question: How can I view Civ full screen? I mean, the maximum resolution it can be, as right now my computer is going at 1240x1028, I think, but Civ 3 appears to be going at 800x600. Is there any way to make Civ go at 124Ox1028?

Yes there is. You need to go into the folder where the game .exe is, and edit the .ini file with the same name. Open the .ini file in Notepad, and at the end add KeepRes=1 . That will have Civ3 display in the same resolution that you have running on your OS. The only screens that won't get any bigger are the menu page, your city view, and advisors.

Errrr, is this in the Civ3 folder or Civ3 Conquests folder?

Whichever one you are playing. If you are playing just Civ 3, then it would be in the Civ3 folder, named Civilization3.ini . If you are playing Conquests, then it would be in the Conquests folder, named conquests.ini . If you are playing PTW, then it would be in the PTW folder, named ptw.ini .
If you are playing Civ3 Complete on the other hand, then I think you need to edit the conquests.ini file in the Conquests folder.

I have made this same change before on other computers but on my laptop running Vista I have just installed the game and wanted to make the same change. Unfortunately, this .ini folder does not exist. I had read that I had to run it before the .ini would appear. I have done that and it still hasnt appeared. Suggestions?....help? Everything greatly appreciated.

Create the .ini file with the KeepRes=1 line it it. The game should append the rest of the .ini file to that file and you should be okay.
