Hi everybody,

my second LH is almost ready. It will be Charles V of Habsburg (1500-1558), Holy Roman Emperor in the era of Martin Luther and the Great Discoveries. Here are some screenshots:

The LH is built from scratch, ie with a complete animation of its own. He will have the "Imperialist" and "Daring" trait ("Daring" is a character trait that I included into my Frizzimod and which gives you a 25% production bonus on all naval units). The animation is not fully complete yet, and as you can see in the images, there's still some minor refinement to be done in the DIFF and BUMP map.

If there's any interest, I will make it available via download within the next days.

Well well, the first born-on-Belgian-soil leader in civ.

I can definitely use this; the LH looks great! I have a few other LH's I'm looking for in my sig if you are searching for ideas of LH to make.

Cheers,

Not quite true, Karl der Große is also born in modern day Belgium, in a place close to Liege

There's already a Charles V... but the old one could probably be used for some other leader...

Excellent work :goodjob:
Please upload him! :scan:
I will use him in my mod as Philipp II of Spain and the other one in this forums as Charles V of Habsburg if you don't mind ;)

Sure I don't mind ... Philipp was Charles' son, so it stays in the family ... :)

Okay.
Then he's the first civ leader born on Flemish soil! :king:

from a time there was no Flemish or Walloon soil. Karl was born on Frankish soil. A Germanic people, and had a language that became later Dutch, Flemish and Afrikaans.

The Dutch have a German-born (Hessian) leader.

Why is he dressed like a pimp?

Sorry for not responding earlier. I just came back from my holidays.

@ripple01

I'm not sure I know what ETA means (estimated time of arrival?), but now I try to get Charles ready ASAP :). However I have to update my Frizzimod first, so it could be ready some time next week.

@ The Capo

How do you think an Emperor gets his money? :D
Seriously, Renaissance kings loved those heavy chains ... I recently saw the "Tudors" soap on DVD and had it inspire me. I just liked the idea.
