I thought the GOTW was supposed to be identical on these two platforms. I noticed on a friend's PS3 this week (Gandhi) that the Confucian Temple was very close to the starting point. While this may not effect stragtegy, it does seem to affect the random seed, and it seemed to me that I could have improved my score by one turn because of this. Is this fair and has anyone noticed this sort of thing as well?

The Ps3 version doesn't award gold for militia. There is a patch supposively coming to the 360 that will change this. Seeing some of the scores for the ps3 board, it still looks like the same times are being managed though.
Understandable however, there appears to be more xbox players engaged in the battle for top ten, since we can actually see the order, and post scores. Hopefully this gets fixed soon... Perhaps this coming Monday will yield some new info. Hopefully.

pretty sure its only different between difficutlty levels. civgotw.com shows the cheiftan map, not the deity.
