Firstly, I would like to say that I love this mod. - It is my favorite of all the mods I have tried; and after playing it for a while, I have a few questions for you guys;

Ok, I have 3 questions about GEM:

1. Is there any way to create a custom game on GEM rather than just playing scenarios? That way I can choose the options, how many AI's, etc.

2. Is it possible to play the original maps on GIANT size? I really love the default Giant Earth Map, but playing on Earth with all the same scenery, etc every game can get old. (to me).

3. I noticed that there were changes made to specific units and such; increased movement speeds, increased dmg, etc. from the original game. Is there any way to reverse that, so that you play under the original BTS rules except with the GEM map, and the civilizations.

Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Another question; is there any way I can combine another mod into this mod, and make it function as one? For ex. I want to use the "Better BTS AI" mod with GEM at the same time... Anyone know anything about this? and how I can get it to work with any mod?

1. Try the "Custom Scenario" option, it does exactly this.

2. You need a mod and mapscript that allows for Giant maps. I'm not sure if such a mapscript is included in GEM.

3. There is a "clean" version of the GEM, modified by me. This version is loadable with vanilla BtS, limited to 18 civs though. If you get a DLL that only has the "xx civs" change you can use it with vanilla BtS and more civs.

4. mod merging is a little bit more complicated. afaik BetterAI is already incorporated into GEM, though you have to ask Kai for a final answer on this.

Just as what Bastian said.

-Thanks for the replies. :)

1. Is there a way to modify the number of AI's in this one? It seems to be locked.

3. Where can I get a version like this?

1.) you just have to increase the umbers of civs in the scenario file, given that you do have a working DLL (important).

3.) Take a look here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=285217
