Let's play if we can get 4 people. I'm in GMT-5 and flexible that day. I would prefer to play for 6 hours or more. 800 BC or 600 AD start.

I'm in GMT-5 too. How about 4 players in 600 AD scattered across (Arabia, China or Japan, Vikings and a late coming Spain) so that there won't be any preemptive strikes? Squatting permitted.:)

^ All of us are on daylight savings and GMT is not, so 16:00 GMT is 12pm our time, 5pm their time.

How about earlier: 10am US, 3pm UK?

AP and i started a 3000 BC game just to keep us occupied. hopefully you UKers will come in later. then we can start a fresh game from 600 AD, or if it happens to make sense, possibly continue the 3000 BC game we're starting now.

We saved around 1725 and hope to pick up the game later. I think the score was something like Vikings (AP) 1600, China (Umarth -> AI) 1400, Arabia (Jet) 1200.

For playing again, how does next Saturday look? UUmarth, would you be interested in picking up the game in 1725, whether next Saturday or another day? (One can play any living civ).

We could also play with a fourth if someone was interested. I wouldn't necessarily have to play Arabia again.

You did such a gentlemanly thing by deleting 2 of your Arabian settlers, Jet. :worship:
I think that barring some unfortunate stability-related issues (like England respawning), I will probably win a spaceship victory or domination victory around 1950. China may very well beat me to a cultural victory though.
I'm on call next Saturday and Sunday so can't do it. But Sunday or Monday (Labor Day) is fine...

If there are no big surprises at work (and I should know by 10am) I should have the day off and can play around 10-11am Eastern time. If I have to go to work then I won't be back till 6pm.

So I won the game in the mid 1940's with a spaceship.
Jet--who must be one of the best player I've seen, having catapulted Arabia into the 2nd largest empire by eliminating a strong Turkey--declares jihad on me after I launch. (and actually changed my state religion to Islam, but I was in free religion, so no luck there). Thankfully, I have mechanized infantry and modern armor, otherwise I would have died with his hundreds of troops all attacking Helsingfor. He could have easily attacked Britain and conquered it because I still have stone age warriors there.:lol: I appropriately launched about 8 nukes. Then Spain and France and all her vassals (America, Portugal, Japan, Khmer) declared war and they were nuked also. I did make peace with everybody except Japan (who must have broken off).

Things could have been really different if Jet decided to keep his 2 settlers and went for guilds/optics for America first...
