Hello,
Would it be possible for someone to explain how these affect the terrain:

I play cold... expecting a full on ice age.. and its normal.. with just specles of cold area...

Earth:
Rocky,
Arid,
Cold,
Temperate
Tropical,

Shoreline:
Pressed
Natural
Solid

Resources:
Balanced

Balanced

They're not completly extreme but they do make a differance. Tropical gives you grassland and jungle around the equator, arid will give you lots of plains and desert.

Balanced resources means that everyone has the key resources with 4/5 tiles of their start position... I'm not certain what counts as key, I think its Iron, Horse, and Oil.
