ok, when i load civ3 my screen goes black after the intro
i can hear the menu music playing and work the menus and play a game, but not see these things.
no matter how many times i reload or restart it does not work.

i am running:
an old dell, i don't know how old
windows xp
civ 3 complete with all the patches
geforce directx9 compatible graphics card

i know civ3 should work because i had it before, then unistalled and reinstalled because i got bored... i have tried reinstalling again (a few times), it doesn't work

any help is appreciated
