GP Farm much???

3 clams/2 fish = 27 food with lighthouse
1 corn = 6 food with river tile/biology

6 tiles working 32 food.... That's just crazy man.
Mid-game, that's 16 population - 6 worked tiles = 10 specialists and growing

Get 4 more grassland river tiles with farms and that's 10 tiles worked for 48 food.

Population 24 - 10 worked tiles = 14 specialists.

I suppose by the time you get 24 population, GP aren't that abundant anymore.

I've seen a few cities with 24 pop. Never paid much attention to how the pop was so high.

I mean... I've had cities at POP 35-40 before, but that was on easier settings.

If a city has recycling center, supermarket, grocer, harbor, aqueduct, and lots of health resources / market, theater, colosseum, temples, cathedrals, culture slider up, and lots of happiness resources, your only limit is food.

With 4 seafood resources and 2 land food resources and a whole mess of farms, you can get to that kind of population. Usually it also requires a few future techs for +:) and +health

You can prolly get to 30 on Noble without future techs... I haven't yet. I'm maxed at like 28 but my games end earlier than future era almost every time (except space vic of course)

Yep. Long gone are the days of mega-cities with pops of 50+ or even 60+.
