Hi, newbie here, but have owned Civ Rev since the day of it's UK release on XBox360 and have completed 48 of the 50 achievements. Anyway, I was playing an online multi-player game about a week back, I was the Greeks, with the other human players as the Romans, Japanese and Aztecs, and the AI as the Russians.
Not long into the game, The Aztecs got wiped out by The Romans, leaving 4 players left. Throughout the early part of the game, I set both my cities to produce a whole load of science, combined with the democracy the Greek start with, I took the early lead of the game, going for a space-race victory. The guy controlling the Roman seemed more bloodthirsty and was getting into wars with both The Russians and Japanese, despite not capturing either capital, he managed to capture a lot of other cities and I noticed he was starting to gather a lot of money together, seemingly going for an economic victory. Anyway, the game went on and eventually the Romans built the Manhattan Project, and seeing that I was the only one who could beat him in the game (The Russians were AI so they were never really in it and The Japanese seemingly done nothing all game) he launched a nuke at my largest city (Neopolis). Instead of the nuke hitting the city, it ended up landing in the sea two squares away (much to my amusement), not harming me at all. I have no idea how someone managed to mess that up, it's not exactly difficult to hit a city with a nuke. I went on to win the game quite easily by reaching Alpha Centauri, so easily in fact that I think I would of won even if Neopolis was destroyed, never-the-less, the nuke missing made it a lot easier.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen something equally stupid/strange happen?
