In a previous game, an epic creature attacked my spaceship in space age when I was flying too low. I decided to try to rid my world of epic creatures in this newer game, I wonder if they just randomly spawn anyway? And can we try to abduct them!? hehe...

So yeah, in the previous screenshot, I designed the only military vehicle of my commercially minded Braeltorians. Specially designed to take down this Dale monstruosity from the continent.

EDIT: The corvid is awesome.

Unfortunately, you cant abduct the epic creatures. When you try to tractor beam them up they just shoot at you. Rather annoying.

I would like to show you this picture I just took. I was out trying to make friends about my nest and find some food, when this happened! I got assaulted by an epic creature and was caught in the middle of a meteorite shower!

!!!VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!: do any of you get smooth anti-aliasing, and do you get the same level of detail on vehicles and building as you do in the editors?

I don't, and it seems to be a common problem, (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=290643) so hopefully they will patch it :) (although, it's maybe only noticeable for those trying to use high graphics settings :dunno:)

@cubsfan6506, yes there is, just hit the 'c' key. You should see a white flash and hear a camera noise (exactly like in the Sims 2). The pictures are saved to your My Spore Creations / Pictures folder.

BUT it doesn't work during most cutscenes, or during diplomacy, or basically anything outside the normal game screens. To get pictures of those things, I guess you'd have to go to windowed mode (for me, print-screen gives nothing but black in full screen mode, though I'd want to save first incase switching it caused a crash!), and use the print-screen key to capture the screen as you've no doubt done before.

I found this in space. There are many oddities in space that you can't really interact with. You think it's a weird star or something and waaaaah. It didn't do anything I was just twirling around in it. After discovering this and a weird reddish-hued area, I got a "sight-seeing" badge.

Thats a wormhole. Once you get the Wormhole Key you can enter it and you emerge somewhere else in the galaxy.

Oh I haven't bought it yet, it seems like a bad idea to go there as I'd suddenly have more diplomacy to deal with. Can other people come in there or am I the only person allowed to wormhole travel?

They all lead to near the middle.

No they don't. I've had ones on my arm of the spiral lead to an entirely different arm of the galaxy nowhere near the middle.

Gettin' chased, and a crashed UFO!

That UFO looks strangely reminiscent of a Death Glider from Stargate.

Two suns set on this piece of rock I found when I started to explore further away. It was the first two-suns system I saw in the game. It was a bit far from home. Then I found many others. Have many people started games (earlier stages) on planets and noticed they had more than one suns?

What's on earth.

Not much. In my game, it was a T1 planet with a small, medium and large plant species and 1 species of herbivores.

GAY. I was hoping for humans. Were the continents properly shapped.

It's not 'gay.' Humans would be cool, but it is better if it follows the pattern of every other planet in the galaxy, me thinks.

From the same game, I look in horror as another epic creature is about to smash a member of my species to the ground. Not nice, not nice. Humourless Baxters around seem to not give a crap.

I had some similar things happen in one of my games after I downloaded sporecasts that I found with a search for "famous". I got all kinds of famous creatures in my game, but after a while I thought it sort of killed the mood to have Lisa Simpsons and Alien in my game. Just a personal thing I guess.

I had to delete every single creature I didn't want individually, which was a PITA. If I had had more creatures downloaded at the time, maybe a lesser rate of famous people would have showed up, but as it was then, the rate of famous people was too high for me!

I found lilpunks in space, they were "followers of The Order". As long as they're not some sort of "Spode" fanatics. Is there only one aggressive space-type that says things about Spode? 'Cause it seems they make half of the alien races in space.
