Mafia game #4 for me, I guess.

Background
Once upon a time, there was a town named Town. Some of the members of this town were members of a secret criminal organization. Most people were not.

One day, there were orders from the head honcho of said criminal organization: eliminate everybody in the town.

The question on their lips was: Why? The town was pretty much idyllic. There was a lake, it was moderately close to the beach, moderately close to the mountains, had a temperate climate, and had a low crime rate, high educational opportunities, and even had a thriving economy. Its chief export was vanilla; its chief import was chocolate.

But, like good mafiosos, they struck, quickly and silently. Due to bureaucratic limitations, however, they could only kill one person per night. So they killed Mayor Meuilleur.

Upon the discovery of the corpse, the townspeople suddenly knew what to do: about 20 of them would decide the fate of the rest of the town. They would do this by holding special votes and lynching people once per day until the mafiosos were dead. It had worked before (actually this had never been tried).

That being decided, the townspeople went to sleep, some for the last time...

As you have have guessed, this is just a simple game of mafia. Nothing's been added or changed to the rules. Yes, I'm breaking my former record of having mafia games with weird rules. Oh well!

Rules
-1 mafia for every six or seven townspeople.
-Nights will last approximately 24 hours.
-Mafia members will PM their kills and clues to me at night time.
-Clues can be either true or false, and they must alternate. You choose the veracity of your clue at the onset, and then they must alternate.
-All clues must be explained to me.
-If a mafia member fails to send in a clue, I will make a true clue.
-Talking at night is NOT permitted.
-Day will last approximately 48 hours.
-Voting will occur during the day.
-The amount of votes given will equal the number of mafia.
-All votes must be in bold.

If you're mafia and you kill somebody, you give a description of how you killed him.

For example:

"LightFang was killed when he ate too many hot dogs and promptly exploded."

If it's true, you have to explain it. So, hot dogs->Weinerschnitzel->schnitzel->schneizel->LightFang. So it's true (if I were the murderer).

If it's false, it probably should point to someone else.

After what seemed like a night that lasted for three days, the townspeople discovered two truths:

Love was bitten by a snake and then died from the poison.

and

The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.

"Only one person dead? That doesn't feel right."

"You're right. Let's dig deeper."

The other mafioso was probably too arrogant or too angry; possibly he would have killed with relish or more likely just some salt and pepper. But, he didn't, because he lazily never sent a kill in.

EDIT: Oh, BTW, never understimate the cleverness of a maffioso, maybe he gave such an obvious clue that trained mafia players would think too far.

It might be D'Artagnan because he's probably used the words 'arrogant' 'angry' and 'lazy' to describe himself, in the Random Rants thread. Also he did one rant about getting sandwiches instead of burgers once, hence 'salt and pepper' instead of 'relish'.

Not sure about the first clue, so I'll vote for a black swan.

Actually, scratch that last vote. Mafiosi don't usually put a really obvious true clue first (unless they are LightFang :p) because at this stage in the game, we've got nothing else to work with. So I play my Bandwagon Card and vote philippe, too.

I have no idea whatsoever, so I won't vote for fear of killing an innocent :D.

The first clue points shamelessly towards Izipo, though its a tad too obvious to hold much truthiness to it.

As for the second one, i dunno, i'll go with Empiremaker. You can eat fish without some salt and pepper to go with it.

Catharsis reasoning makes sense so I'll put my first vote against D'Artagnan59.

Not too sure about Philippe, but I'll probably get around to voting against him if it saves my neck.

In order to save my neck, I withdraw my vote against D'Artagnan59 (he's toast anyway, and besides I'm pretty sure he's mafia too).

It was a solemn occasion for D'Artagnan59. It was really rather hard to act haughty and snooty but still dignified when you were being buried alive in pepper. He sneezed to death.

It was a happy occasion for Izipo because he was about to be killed for making a hypocritical oath and would no longer have to suck at being a medic in TF2.

A. The human fish refers to Swimming and Water Polo, two of my favorite sports. At one point, I had a water polo ball as an avatar.

"You are a mafia, I dare say!" said sirtommygunn.

"I dare not," was his reply.

"Don't try us," said rhawn.

"I only wish to try to live."

"Too bad you're not a current and have 926 lives like me," said electric926.

The door slowly slid up to reveal a beautiful scene: the sun, blood red, was sinking in the sky, shining its last, feeble rays upon the denizens of Earth before it sank below the horizon to flip around and try again. The ocean glittered like the encrusted jewels of Czar Nicholas's family. A brown pier jutted off into the distance before abruptly stopping, as if the constructor had woken up one day to discover his family missing and went on a long trek to India to discover their whereabouts before realizing that they were all dead and giving up his former, self-indulgent life to become a ferryman at a river where, under the guidance of a wizened wise man, he learned from the river, who despite being an inanimate object was a pretty good teacher as he was able to learn enlightenment and also gave him the tools necessary to pass on his teachings to a friend who followed him along his journey but didn't go through the same tribulations because he was merely a follower.

They dragged him out onto the pier, where its significance was completely lost on them. The tailless man struggled for a bit, and finally they sat on him to subdue him.

"This is pier pressure!" complained taillesskangaru.

"You're a man without peer," quipped the man with the tommy gun.

"It would have been easier to just shoot him with that," complained rhawn, bitterly.

They stuffed him into a nondescript brown bag and then shot him up with so much lead that the bag became pretty descript with red bloodstains. They then dumped the body into the ocean where it became food and thus he returned as dust to the cycle of life.

It's a shame he was innocent.

The sun coughed and sank below the horizon, in honor of the dead man.

"Now, time to take care of some business," said rhawn, withdrawing his butterfly knife and whirling towards the two townspeople.

"No way! You're the mafioso?" asked electric. "Wow, that was too easy!" He grabbed his switchblade and flicked it out, cutting himself on the palm like an amateur.

"Agreed," said sirtommygunn, and he promptly shot the two. Smoke left his gun to escape his evil treachery. He kicked their two bodies into the water, then went off to have a smoke and possibly chat it up with the waitress.

I was going to accuse rhawn, but I died on the night I decided to do so. :( 'Cause of the long wait for a first clue - rhawn's rather iffy at meeting deadlines in the General Knowledge Quiz and such. Also, he posted something like 'Sneerk. It's either him or electric926' which pretty much (with phillipe) set up the next three days' voting. Very clever play there, if he was the mafioso.

1st kill: Love was bitten by a snake and died from poison.

2nd kill: Choxorn was shot by a magic missle.
Tasslehoff was right, although I was a sorcerer instead of a wizard. Also worked as a frame of him.

3rd kill: neverwonagame3 died when he lost a game of chess.
Frame of phillip

4th kill: Stuck in Pi was killed in a cloud of steam.
True I'm part of the steam group, but sense I can't get on I figured I'd have a way to draw away suspicion.

5th kill: Catharsis was eaten by a tiger.
Frame of Tailles, who put a picture of a tiger when he signed up.

6th kill: BananaLee was the first one dead, but nobody noticed until now.
True, I was the first dead in the NotW game.
