I actually have a question... I'm usually playing a Terra map, that's why i kept the barbarian civ off. I'm afraid by the time i get to the "new world" the barbarians will be full out civilizations... Way too advanced since they had a larger area to grow... might end up with a super civ!
What do you, the more experience guys say about this?
did i make the wrong decision?

Hmm, I think there won't be huge civs because 2 other civs must spot barbarian city before it can turn into full civ (revolution component). But then again there was some setting in Revolution.ini file for New World barbs that might overwrite the previous rule.

Been reading more about the Terra barbarian civ in the forum, but everything sounds cryptic... there is a special script for terra maps but no one says what it contains or how it works.
So i decided to just try it myself and see! :D

By the time you reach the new world the barbarians are still very basic, lacking gunpowder technologies. Best of all they build all the infrastructure for you and you just need to take their cities!
Its realistic after all - the new world was populated, the Aztecs, Indians et al were a challenge.
