hey all, new hear, and i got a question I was hoping one of you could answer :)
I wanted to play civ 4 today again, however, there was no sound anymore! (in other programs there still is) :(. The last time I played it, about a month ago, I had no problem with the sound and all. I didn't reinstall the game, so that can't be the solution (neither was restarting the pc...).
I tried reinstalling the game after going through all options menu's (which didn't help). However, first it was installed on my C drive, and i installed it on my E now. There, I had no problem whatsoever. However, I would prefer installing it on my C. So, I uninstalled and installed the game, this time on C, and again no sound!.
The reasson I want it on C is that I like to be able to use a standard systemrestore on it, since for some strange reasson the last patches (well, until 1.6) never worked for me (black screen), and systemrestore was the only way to get rid of it :crazyeye:. So, before installing 1.7 or something, I want to be sure that I can use systemrestore :)
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
System specs:
Windows vista home premium 32 bit
mobility radeaon 2600HD
dual core 1,5 Ghz
But, it shouldn't have any influence since I was always able to use sound.
