Someone please tell me that they are working on a custom map script. Preferably one that creates more smaller island-like landmasses instead of the one big one that's seems to always be created. :please:

Custom map scripts work similarly to Civ4, as far as I know ... so they should be easily possible :)

Have you tried out the Caribbean map script (one of the two that comes with the game)? Lots of islands. :)

I have a new climate engine similar to PerfectWorld, but faster and better, all ready to go and I am working on a map script for Col. As soon as I'm at the point where I'm not repeatadly humiliated by the King's army, I should have enough Col knowledge to finish up and make it really work well. Give me a week.

yes map script would be very nice! because new world script is piece of crap :/ it generates strange bended lands :/ it would be nice to generate map with sea to the east, and land to the west for example, like first colonist at coast in north america
can somebody make that script pls? :)
