Hello,

i have the following problem.
I have installed bts patch 3.17 under Vista ultimate.
When i start the game the intro picture from bts is shown and the start terminates.
No error message, just the game doesnt start.
Does somebody here has / had the same problem and could give me a hint?
I tried to find a solution using google but nothing i found did work.
Any idea?

try to reinstall the game

Did it work before? What happens when you try to run Vanilla Civ IV? Also, how did you install 3.17? Did you use the in-game updater or stand-alone patch?

Try running the game as an administrator. (Right click on game icon, and select "run as administrator")

If you do reinstall, make sure to run the installer as an administrator.
