On my ffh age of ice Mod I have no interface I was told to run civ4 in administrator mode not sure if im doing it right or not I go into Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Gold Properties then to security and click on Administrators is this right please help if can.... Thanks

Try pressing Ctrl + I, or Alt + I. One of those enables/disables the interface.

Hey, I'm gonna revive this thread as I have a similar problem.

I'm playing BTS 3.17 using a merged mod of my own creation. It's a merger of the "Merged Mod 0.83" and "JCultureControl." Also, I am playing on the "Landmasses" map set to 160 wide, I think. I have it set to the largest map my computer could handel.

Anyhow, I was playing a bit ago and the game crashed with an MAF problem, when I tried to look at the culture levels on the world map (zoomed out). Well, I did not realize the MAF was a widespread problem in the game, as I assumed it was due to my somewhat older machine. Now, I've read some of the solutions for that and I'll try them tomorrow.

The problem I have now is when I tried to reload the auto-saves for the game that was lost, the Tech Advisor screen pops up when the game loads (but with no tech-tree - background and exit button only), and when I close that, the interface is missing. I tried all combinations of ctrl-alt-shift-I and none worked.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might be able to save this game? I had over 5 hours of play since the last time I had saved the game, and it's the best Noble level game I've ever had. I really hate to loose it because of a damn technical glitch in the game.

If they matter here, the PC specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.01Ghz

troubleshooting mods is difficult without knowing what was changed :)
start by enabling logging in the game and when the error occurs close it and post your game logs :)
