You'll then get the option to choose how much to seell or offer or unload or whatever. However, this doesn't work in the Europe screen, I believe. I shift-click and it still offers them all of that good that's on the wagon train. Gorukha Oct 05, 2008, 03:05 AM For some reason, I can't get this to work when trading with Natives. Meanwhile I work around it by loading my Merchantman with 4 types of goods (guns, horses, trade goods and one other, depending on what is wanted). That way I can trade a load of 100 in each village. That's all great, but when you're trying to max/min with the natives, squeezing every last gold out of them while not giving up too much, you can't do that without changing how much you offer. I've seen them offer me 1000 for 100 horses, leaving them with 500. Then I bring them the guns they want and want to keep as many as I can while bleeding them dry. dalgo Oct 05, 2008, 02:04 PM That's all great, but when you're trying to max/min with the natives, squeezing every last gold out of them while not giving up too much, you can't do that without changing how much you offer. I ain't seen no Injuns round 'ere for sssssssssshhh....thud!!! Red Adept Oct 06, 2008, 02:54 PM You're a hard man Red. Give the Indians a break once in a while :) Isn't it our manifest destiny to exploit the natives? Also, why can't we trade goods for goods with the Natives? Sure, I end up buying their stuff off them just so I can sell them the guns they want and get all my money back plus what they had already.....but if I could just trade them the guns for literally the skins on their backs, that would be so much easier than going back and bringing one gun with me to clean them out. :) |
