Could anyone please download this save, and try to play 20 turns with it or so, and tell me if you get any random crashes?

No crash for me. I played on until 2176.

I once saw a python exception line on the top of the screen for the blooming effect near "unknown" city (was my HQ), and the soundfiles for the plasma throwers seems missing.

Damn, I'm getting a repeated crash when clicking endturn. And I've been having random and *unrepeatable* crashes in the turns before.

Was that game tested with your modified LSystem files, or the ones included in the patch g download?

I'm suspecting there may be a problem with some python interface code or the current LSystem XML that is causing random crashes.

I'll start a thread about this in more detail tonight or tomorrow.

I played it with my LSystem files, and the art_define file you updated the other day.
If there's a problem with my LSystem files, the xml log should show it (if you enabled it).

Anyway, I'm not saying there's a problem with your files. If there's a problem, it's probably from before you.

Oh, that can't be the cause of a crash.
Perhaps I should remove those empty art references I did, and link something to the 3 facilities inthere.

Any other volunteer playtesters btw? It would be good to know the result of someone who's playing with an unmodded mod. I'd like to know whether or not I'm the only one having these troubles. :scared:

What version is it? I get a C++ runtime error when trying to load the save.

tested the save and lost to a diplomatic victory ;), while playing i often saw an error message because of the flamethrower sound effect.

had two crashes one occured while trying to leave the game (after 15 rounds - was my first try) the other after i think 25 rounds while autosaving.

Strange. I don't really understand how that could give an error.
The flamethrower sound will be enabled in the next patch, for the record.

Unfortunately it doesn't really bring us closer to finding the cause. Suspicious Geo isn't having problems. Hopefully a look at his modified files can provide answers.

it was only a error message when fighting in the event list (no pop up), i hope too that GeoModder files can fix the errror

Autosaves en circumstances are always better information then just mentioning it. ;)

(Haven't finished a full game yet, but) I never experience any crashes.
