This scenario is inspired in the novel "The Warlord Chronicles". It takes place in Britain, around the year 500. Some of it is history, and some of it is legend. You are Arthur, King of the british kingdom of Dumnonia. Arthurs dream was to unify the british kingdoms, and take back the lands stolen by the Saxons. The land the Saxons occupie is known as Lloegyr, wich means "lost lands". I included some famous people from the legend, such as the knights Lancelot, Sagramor and Agravain, the swordsmans Percival and Derfel, and the Great Leader Merlin.
Britain is divided this way:

Dumnonia
Gwent
Powys
Siluria
Kernow
Ireland
Lloegyr

Dumnonia and Gwent are the kingdoms with the greater infra-structure, because they are the ones the romans colonized the most. Lloegyr was once civilized, but now it is ruined under the rule of the Saxon barbarians. There are lots of barbarians in Scotland and Ireland.

I modified the rules quite a bit. The minimum time for a tech discovery is 50 turns, because the scenario takes place in the beginning of the Dark Ages. A settler costs 5 food, because there werent many new cities back then.

A good thing about this scenario is that it loads quickly.

Im working on a Napoleonic scenario. Does anyone have a good map of Europe in 1792 with city names?

It's a good scenario, because the turns are REALLY quick. So,it's fun for inbetween, when you don't want to wait 10 minutes for the saved game to load and then 5 minutes for each turn.

Great scenario. Any scenario by you is great. I can't wait until your Napoleonic scenario is out.

I enjoyed playing it, but I wonder why you did
not modify the start date or the time scale of
the game turns?

Because I did this for Civ3(before PTW), when it was impossible to do so.

Hi,
I'm new to the 'downloading scenarios world" and had a few questions for you. I tried to download several scenarios last nigh, including yours, and I can't get my copy of the game to load any of the scenarios. Do I need a patch or another file to upload these games into mine?? Just confused I guess. Any help would be great! Thanks.

The map was not designed for this scenario specifically, so it has resources for all ages.
