The exploit isn't specific to cigars, of course. If your King gives you a demand that you can respond to by throwing a Tea Party and dumping a certain good, there's a way to go to that colony and stash it safely in a wagon or boat.

Press F1, then click the city, and you can manipulate your inventory there. Go back to the King's screen and throw that party (or don't). If you do, only the remainder of the good that's in the warehouse will be thrown out!

I like being able to know how much of a good I stand to lose in a Tea Party but this is a bit to blatant of an exploit, I think.

Maybe the 104 viewers would prefer that this bug went unnoticed haha;)

Actually, if you've looked at the to-do list of the unofficial patch, this items been there for a few days. ;)

Is saving these 300 units of [goods] a big deal ?
You can't sell the stuff to europe ever again... Even if the Natives will buy some... In a few turns you will have a lot of spare [goods] anyway...

It's still a bug of course... But maybe someone can enlighten me on how to expoit it, so i can have some fun before Dale fixes it :p

I hate the idea that I just plonked down ( or unloaded from a wagon ) 300 guns and 300 tools to finish that whatever and wouldn't ya know that they want a tool or gun party in THAT port!
