I am having problems such as a city shows that I have 25 tools or weapons but the balance is really zero. I think I had a bad install but I can't see how to uninstall and re-install. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I am stumped. Thanks for your help,

What is your operating system?

Go to Control Panel and either use Program Manager or the equivalent for your version of Windows.

i was having the same problem. Civ installer won't uninstall due to a missing string or something and it closes. And you can't remove it through the Control Panel - Programs due to it executing the civ installer, see above error.

Then on top of that, there is something called CREATOR OWNER permissions that won't let me alter the folder so that i can delete the game manually...

so at this time it's neither working, letting me uninstall it, or letting me delete it. Thank god for 2k protections that have since hijacked my own system, denying me the ability to even remove their program...
