Just came back to a game and found that the entire interface i.e. toolbar, mini map, unit action buttons everything other than the map, has disappeared?
I suspect there is a button I need to press to restore (hopefully) but for the life of me cant find it.
I have tried a new game and the same hapens?

Well I uninstalled the prgramme. Reinsatlled it and the interface and all unit toolbars are back. Lost my saved game though.

Still would like to know if there was a simpler way of solving this.

CTRL+I or ALT+I, one of those.

I am having this same issue. CTR-I, Alt-I, Shift-I did not work.
