Post whatever you happen to be angry at right now!
Giving advice is cool, but try not to hurt anybody's feelings.
Right now, the color of the walls in my room is getting boring to me...
warpus Oct 23, 2008, 07:46 PM I was pissed as hell last night cause we scratched my hardwood floor in my livingroom when we were moving my giant tv stand around.. and then I had to move it back to where it was anyway!
On the plus side it's back where it was, so you can't see the scratch at all.
I'm hosting a housewarming party this Saturday, and my place is a mess. I haven't even bought snacks!.. or drinks.. or even put together my table for downstairs or my foosball table.. or set anything up there..
Way too busy with everything.
I also hate babies.
choxorn Oct 23, 2008, 07:47 PM What about the babies, the evil cuteness, or the screaming constantly?

It's not random at all if its on a daily schedule... there must be some reason it hapopens at the same time every day... did something awful happen you recently at that time of day? Is your diet scheduled so your energy gets very low in mid-day? do you have a particularly difficult class then? there must be some connection otherwise it wouldnt be consisten in its timing

Eran of Arcadia Oct 24, 2008, 07:25 AM My office manager seems incapable of understanding the instructions that she gives to me. I just got an email from her chewing me out for not doing the procedures list she has me doing each morning and evening. Among my crimes: I checked off one of the lines, whereon it says to make my desk neat and clean, and once a week to disinfect the telephone and computer. I do this, and check it off twice a day. She apparently assumed that I was claiming to disinfect the telephone and computer twice a day, and since I obviously am not (for some reason - I can't imagine why - I have been doing it once a week) I am not following the procedure properly.
She is like this all the time. She wants to micromanage me but is not often clear on what she wants me to do. She is still upset that I use webmail instead of Outlook - Outlook has the advantage that it is what she wants me to use, but webmail has the advantage that it actually gets incoming mail and sends outgoing mail.

downtown Oct 24, 2008, 09:21 AM My main "freelancers contract" expires at 2 AM tonight. I talked with my editor, and even though I got a nearly perfect performance review, they don't have the money to hire me full time, and the next freelancers contract they're going to offer me isn't nearly as steady (or lucrative).
I'm still on a list to contribute to a few different media sources now, but this was the best job on the list. Time to hit the pavement again I guess.

Masquerouge Oct 24, 2008, 11:00 AM I just can't stand anymore movies where the ugliest guys score the most beautiful chicks.
Case in point: take that guy:

In movies he scored these girls:
http://www.topnews.in/light/files/Katherine-Heigl.jpg
http://www.freshnews.in/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/elizabeth-banks.jpg
And what bugs me is that it's never the other way around (an ugly chick scoring a gorgeous guy), mostly because it's hard to find an ugly chick in movies, while ugly guys... galore.
I find the whole thing incredibly sexist.
Mehmed100 Oct 24, 2008, 12:21 PM Popups anger me!!!!! Especially the stupid talking smilies that scream "hello"!
GinandTonic Oct 24, 2008, 02:55 PM So they all winge at me to re-surface the kitchen table.
I clean the whole thing, I remove twenty coats of crappy old varnish from the top and sand out all the burns and dinks, I wax the whole thing, I mix up a varnish to make the sanded top colour match the rest and apply it.
I look upon the stain/ varnish and decide it is perfect. I decide that without a kitchen table I deserve a take away and wine. As I open the kitchen door to make this a reality the cat runs in and jumps on the corner of the wet table leaving paw prints. I freak, the cat runs right across the table to hide. I wimper in horror, the cat jumps back up onto a still-perfect corner to check what the problem is.
Very bad kitty.

Martacus Oct 24, 2008, 05:26 PM The people in my neighborhood. Have you people ever heard of a driveway? It's that strip of gravel or asphalt sitting next to your house. And guess what? You can even park your car right there on top of it! Amazing! No more having to park in front of my house anymore!

Firstlady Oct 24, 2008, 05:48 PM How do you just leave for Gainesville without telling anyone?!?!
Good grief! I was starting to get worried because my grandfather never came home from work so I called him after three hours and apparently he won tickets for the Florida game tomorrow and he and my nephew went down to see it (I'm very aware that it's tomorrow), which is fine and dandy for them but it would be nice to be told what's going on!!

JustinianVII Oct 25, 2008, 12:34 AM Argh. Maybe someone can explain to me why a guy can fall for the same woman off and on, despite no event occurring to push such feelings back into motion, no romantic past history (though there was more than one time where it was close to it) and the fact that it's more than likely one way this time. The head recognizes a degree of futility but the heart either knows something the head doesn't or simply refuses to believe logic, or maybe it's a poor reflection upon oneself and a pathetic inability to move on (it's not like there was no effort there, either).
Kozmos Oct 25, 2008, 03:53 AM I really dont know, I just saw her(the bloody redhead) last night after a while and it got the old 'feelings' thing stirring again. Which is killing me, because she is mashiara, love lost beyond redemption. I've tried many solutions, including the true and time tested technique of nailing many cheap sluts to forget her, apparently with little to no effect. I just hope I dont keep running into her again, yet each time before I even know that I will I get this gut feeling that's somethings wrong and lo and behold she shows up everytime, without fail. She's even penetrated my dreams again. It's madness, madness I tell you.

I wouldn't mind scoring with Seth Rogen.
Mirc Oct 25, 2008, 01:33 PM I've been stalked by an extremely weird mentally-troubled girl for a while, and today unfortunately I met her again, she was helping at a concert I played at... And she was completely crazy about me, putting herself literally on top of me, and doing stuff that's... well, pretty screwed up. And so to make her stop I started "playing" with some other girl there, I grabbed her hands, kissed her, etc (I barely knew her but she liked me a lot too so I didn't care), and it worked (this one was incredibly receptive too).
What's the rant? Well I get to do that every night I'm out, and even get to go much further than that, but the next day everything always seems to be forgotten. Some girls are always all over me, but it all seems to not work out for a longer time! This one was literally moaning in pleasure while I was staying with her, but she left in a hurry... Heh, and with all this, so often, it's been almost 2 months since I don't have a girlfriend... and I'm going to be single at my birthday the day after tomorrow... I hate this. I almost can't remember last time I had a real girlfriend and had real sex:p and I hate that this happens, since it all goes so easily for me. Somehow, I've been having a strike of bad luck in this field in the past weeks/months. And again, I hate that I'm gonna be single on my birthday the day after tomorrow. :(
azzaman333 Oct 25, 2008, 01:36 PM I wish I had another couple of weeks to make better friends with a couple of people, but it looks unlikely... :(

I'm working on a group project (a wiki) with two people.
I am the only one who has substantially contributed anything (except three sentences from one person, which I already had covered).
Note to self: Never work with one of them again on a project. The other guy has no internet at home, which I can understand, and since he transferred recently, has no computer account either, so he can't go to the library. The other guy has an account and has not gotten a pass to the library.

Erik Mesoy Oct 26, 2008, 02:27 AM THE US ELECTION IS A FARCE.
People talk about how the mudslinging is better than the old days when candidates accused one another of worse things, but at least those were important things.
Now it's Palin is a moron, Biden makes a gaffe, Palin is a moron again, McCain mixes up a planetarium projector and an overhead projector, Palin s up, Obama is President Hopechange, Obama said "bitter", Obama listened to Reverend Wright, Palin foments ignorance, some insane woman scratches a B on her face and the conservative media leap on the story, Palin goes rogue, Palin calls herself an intellectual, Palin is a Creationist, Palin and the $150000 wardrobe, Palin wears a Vote Democrat scarf, Palin drops a hockey puck, Palin hunts moose, Palin does some random thing that really doesn't deserve attention, some other guy does some thing, Obama's grandfather was associated with a gay communist, and I wish for a totalitarian government in control of the news media that only printed the stories that would still be interesting and newsworthy several months from now, because the current crop of "gaffe! blunder! scandal!" is [B][bleep]ING WELL NOT NEWSWORTHY AND I'M TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT IT.

At least with the presidential election, the candidates do things besides throw mud at each other. Here in Washington (state), the gubernatorial candidates have apparently decided that the issues don't matter at all, and the only way to win is to bury the other in more mud.

Seriously, when every question has a .1, .2, .3, .998237, etc. it makes me want to take a fork to my temple. These 100 classes are such a waste of time. well.... frankly.. I prefer cold weather... so I guess I'm getting screwed over anyway
I wish I still lived someplace hot and dry. The Mojave was pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie. And if I wanted cold, ski resorts aren't that far away. :p
The entire day wasted on waiting for a plumber
John McCain spent part of a rally waiting for Joe to show up (he didn't). Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
jeps Oct 30, 2008, 10:24 PM well.... frankly.. I prefer cold weather... so I guess I'm getting screwed over anyway
You PREFER cold weather? From a Canadian, I think we can lock you up and throw away the key. ;)
Shylock Oct 30, 2008, 10:33 PM I have nothing to do tomorrow related to Halloween. Just an econ exam and astrophysics club which most people will skip anyway.
choxorn Oct 30, 2008, 10:35 PM I've procrastinated endlessly on something I should have been done with by now.
Mowque Oct 30, 2008, 10:37 PM My new computer cant handle civ graphics....
Phinaeus Oct 30, 2008, 11:07 PM Damned physics homework. NEWTONS JOULES WATTS FORCE POWER WORK makes me want to raaaaaage. Also, why is the law of conservation of energy so hard to apply to apply to pulleys? Why is it so hard to apply to textbook questions? Is it that hard or am I just an idiot?
AND we're going to have to learn even faster due to the amount of material we have to cover by May... ah . .. .. .. ..
CCRunner Oct 30, 2008, 11:09 PM Library is closed tomorrow so I have to do all my homework that needs a computer or textbook at home
Dawgphood001 Oct 30, 2008, 11:14 PM I've procrastinated endlessly on something I should have been done with by now.
You know...I'm in the same boat...:cringe:
silver 2039 Oct 30, 2008, 11:39 PM Bill Clinton is going to be in New Jersey at some Obama rally but I can't go its too far north somewhere near Newark which sucks. It would be cool to see Clinton speak.
choxorn Oct 30, 2008, 11:57 PM You know...I'm in the same boat...:cringe:
Luckily, I managed to finish. Work always seems like it will take more time before I do it.
Aramazd Oct 31, 2008, 12:06 AM I bought some pizza and stuck it in the fridge, so I could have it after work, and my brother ate it, so now I'm going to have spend a bunch of time making dinner!!

My brother does this all the time. I just make him cough it up (money, that is).
Aramazd Oct 31, 2008, 12:55 AM My brother does this all the time. I just make him cough it up (money, that is).
I'm going to tomorrow, but he's sleeping right now.
Firstlady Oct 31, 2008, 03:18 AM GAH!!! The missionary that went home a couple of weeks ago killed one of life's mysteries. Missionaries have first names. I'm scarred forever. I will never be able to look at the missionaries currently serving here the same.
Taras Bulba Oct 31, 2008, 05:51 AM I wish I still lived someplace hot and dry. The Mojave was pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie. And if I wanted cold, ski resorts aren't that far away. :p

well.... trust me.... I can take the cold..... I hate when its 100° outside and your sweating like crazy
plus... I'm always warm... I'm like a natural heater
but on to my rant.... ARGH!@! I didn't do my homework last night because I fell asleep really early.... I need to get it done in HR now!
Grisu Oct 31, 2008, 06:40 AM ok, winter seems to have arrived here (first snow this season) and guess what? the heating in our flat doesn't work correctly....we have the heating turned up full blast and in most rooms the temperature doesn't rise above 18°C
yesterday the heating guy was there and tried some stuff....to no avail...if this doesn't work they'll have to flush the heating, which means that they'll have to turn it off completely first

It's like demons: if you find out their true name, you gain power over them. I was always worried this would happen to me.
Shylock Oct 31, 2008, 08:04 AM A FRAKKING SKUNK SPRAYED THE PLACE AT 4 IN THE MORNING!
We should exterminate the bastards.

Hey, who a while ago said they sometimes wished they had a sibling? This is a perfect example of a reason you don't want siblings.
salty mud Oct 31, 2008, 08:26 AM Hey, who a while ago said they sometimes wished they had a sibling? This is a perfect example of a reason you don't want siblings.
That woould be me. And I still wish I had one. It would give an avenue to dispense all of my teenage rage. (I.E smash their face in.)
downtown Oct 31, 2008, 08:31 AM It's like demons: if you find out their true name, you gain power over them. I was always worried this would happen to me.
Thats why you tell them your first name is Elder.
I'm Ward Mission Leader right now, and I don't know the first name of one of our elders. The other I managed to find on facebook, which drives him crazy.
salty mud Oct 31, 2008, 08:58 AM I forgot that I wear contacts, yet again.
I think I've had mine in for almost three months now and haven't taken them out once...until five minutes ago. :ack:
I think this week is going to be a glasses week because my eyes are rejecting a fresh pair of contacts. I can't really blame them.
I've got to try to remember to take these darned things out at night, though! I keep thinking I've got perfect vision now and I don't! :(
I forgot I've had my contacts in maybe twice in the two years I've had them, and even then I've remembered to remove them before I fell asleep or whatever. Have you got the monthly ones? The ones what you can wear for a month without removing? If not, I cannot see how it is possible to forget about them for THREE MONTHS. :crazyeye:
Shylock Oct 31, 2008, 11:42 AM It's rainy and cloudy so girls are less likely to slut it up at school for Halloween :(

same here....:(
raketooy Oct 31, 2008, 12:58 PM I used to kick ass at physics but now I've started to suck. My course grades have been (on a funny scale from 4 to 10) 10, 10, 10, 9, 7. I was planning on getting a 10 from this sixth course but it's gonna be difficult.
carmen510 Oct 31, 2008, 04:21 PM Due to our school's constant pandering for political involvement, we have to write about two issues that the candidates have said something on. And I have Financial Regulation as my required assignment...
CCRunner Oct 31, 2008, 05:43 PM I forgot my notebook at home this morning and then had an open notes quiz. I got all of them right but we were supposed to mark the page number we found the info on. I lost six point for that.
Honestly? Why should I be penalized for not needing notes to do a quiz? I don't mind low grades but 24/30 because I couldn't mark page numbers? And why does it even matter what page the notes are on?
silver 2039 Oct 31, 2008, 05:51 PM I was pleasuring myself today, and the window was open and I think some people outside saw me. Some girls actually. I saw them looking at my window and I had to pull my pants on in a hurry but I was sitting down so I don't know....this is annoying. Why does this type of thing always happen to me?
salty mud Oct 31, 2008, 05:52 PM I was pleasuring myself today, and the window was open and I think some people outside saw me. Some girls actually. You should have shouted after them and asked if they wanted to join in. That would have been even more pleasureable.
silver 2039 Oct 31, 2008, 05:56 PM I asked my roommate if he thinks that people can see from the window and he said that if I was sitting down then they probably shouldn't have been able to see. But they were definatley looking in my direction....maybe I'm just paranoid, I've done this loads of time before and no one has ever seen me or said anything so I guess it should be fine.
contre Oct 31, 2008, 06:00 PM I grew up in Ohio and my mother's family all live in Delaware. So 2 - 3 times a year, we'd pile in the car and make the 10 hour drive to visit them. This was long before the ingenious invention of DVD players for your kids, so our entertainment usually consisted of road spotting. Probably all of you have done it... doing the alphabet off the license plates of other cars or counting red cars or... well all that jazz.
Anyway, my mom bought me this activity book for road trips. One of the sections was cataloging the different license plates you saw. There was a little box to check and a date to write down each time you saw a different jurisdiction plate (eg: Oh, a Pennsylvania plate on 10/21/96, mark that).
While I'd long since lost the book, I kept this game alive in my head. In 1999 I caught an Alaskan plate while in Georgia (long drive home). In 2002 I caught a Hawaii plate near Cincinnati (wtf?). I finished the US with a Wyoming plate in 2007.
I also kept track of Canadian Provinces. A checked off a number back in Ohio. It took until I moved here to get some of the lesser populated places like Prince Edward Island and the Yukon.
Well today, after I parked, I was walking towards Future Shop and there was a polar bear-shaped license plate. I literally stopped walking. Right there in this parking lot in Ottawa was a little Honda CRV with Nunavut tags. I couldn't believe it. 30,000 people live in Nunavut. There's no roads leading out. And it was right there. I was soooooooooooooo excited, I thought, "FINISHED AFTER 12 YEARS!"
And as I was telling people about that, I remembered that after 1999, there were two polar bear plates. One says Nunavut one says Northwest Territories. I've never seen one from NWT. This disappointment is crushing :( I am still 1 plate shy of perfection.
Catharsis Oct 31, 2008, 06:02 PM For goodness' sake silver, if you're going to, achem, do that in front of an open window, at least wear a top hat while doing it.
Tipping one's hat to a Lady is Good Manners!
Ansar Oct 31, 2008, 06:07 PM SAT is tomorrow.
Bill3000 Oct 31, 2008, 06:29 PM Four days before the election and my mom still hasn't decided on who to vote for President.
silver 2039 Oct 31, 2008, 06:34 PM Four days before the election and my mom still hasn't decided on who to vote for President.
My mom can't even be bothered to vote. All she had to do was fill out the form for the absentee ballot I gave her and mail it to the embassy. Seriously....
choxorn Oct 31, 2008, 06:41 PM Missed the bus, had to wait TWO F***ING HOURS before someone came to take me home. Honestly, that just sucks.
@silver: Next time, yell "Look! A distraction!"
mythmonster2 Oct 31, 2008, 08:37 PM How far away is your home from school? I would walked if shorter than the distance I coulda walked in two hours.
My rant: I had the best thing ever to scare little kids that trick-or-treat at our home, and I got 1 victim: My brother when he was returning. Finally, I decided to screw it, and in the process of writing this post, 3 trick-or-treaters (separate doorbells, so it may have been more than one kid per ring). GAH!
PlutonianEmpire Oct 31, 2008, 08:52 PM I hate halloween out in the country. It's so lonely--few, if any, trick-or-treaters. :(
warpus Oct 31, 2008, 09:19 PM so i'm walking down the street with a couple of my girls, and what do we see in a window? some guy jerking off
it was disguisting
choxorn Nov 01, 2008, 01:05 AM @warpus: the fact that silver's rant exists a few posts ago makes yours all the more funny.
@mythmonster: I would, but there's a bunch of construction on a road between my school and my house, and it's Friday, so I have a crapload of stuff to carry. And it was raining.
Loki130 Nov 01, 2008, 01:20 AM everyones after me. why does everyone hate death so much?
Firstlady Nov 01, 2008, 01:25 AM I felt a feeling I haven't felt in a long time tonight.
That empty, hollowness kills sometimes.
Maybe it was the girl that wouldn't stop kissing her boyfriend. That got old very fast.
Maybe it is the drama going on between two of my female friends over some stupid guy that they probably don't realize flirts with everything that moves.
Maybe it was James' proposal to Jennelle.
I don't know.
Halloween was bittersweet for me, I guess. :undecide:
Fifty Nov 01, 2008, 01:40 AM @warpus: the fact that silver's rant exists a few posts ago makes yours all the more funny.
...You do realize warpus' post was a joke directed at silvers post and not a serious rant, right?
my rant: when people dont get jokes!!! :p
Annex Nov 01, 2008, 01:45 AM everyones after me. why does everyone hate death so much?
maybe because it causes people to die?
silver 2039 Nov 01, 2008, 02:13 AM Poor death. It gets no loving. Even death needs to get laid once in a while.
carmen510 Nov 01, 2008, 02:49 PM Still need to finish a lab report, English crap, and math, as well as the formerly ranted about election stuff.
