I have no interest in civ 4 colonization , but i would buy it if it changed stuff in the orginal civ 4 , for instance , does it change the ocean and terrain to that cool color for regular civ 4 games? do i get those new buildings for reg civ 4 games? or is this content only available if you play this colony mod?

Colonization is a stand alone game. They are two different games.

You will have to wait for Civ 5 for the enhanced graphics, in any case give Col a bash, you might enjoy it!:)

Col2 makes you appreciate the quality of Civ4 :D
