I have a confession to make. While working on the GOTM09 results, I deleted all emails of GOTM08 since that was obsolete. But I forgot I hadn't saved all the savegames yet, so those are lost too. :( In response I immediately saved all GOTM09 savegames (uploading them now) and it won't happen again. But the damage is done. :(

I really like James victory, 1190AD! He showed that the quickest way to win was through diplomacy!

I'm guessing "fastest finish by conquest" doesn't count if it's in 2050? :p

Hey Thanks Cartouche Bee....i was suprised i placed so hi being this was my first attempt at GOTM. Congrats to all those who played. I can see i have more work to do, to make my way further up that ranking list.

A small drop compared to the previous game(24th) but a giant leap in the global ranking: only one place away of getting into "the blue". :)

I'm surprised you all take it so light that the savegames are gone. Lucky me I suppose...

Hey donsig, did you notice we're the only ones who have played all GOTM's? ;) You might overtake me this month because I have a lot to learn for exams. You might... :p

How about a new category - most average submittal? I'd be in close running for that one ;)

Speaking of averages ... I noticed that the results page average score is 3716, while the spreadsheet average score is 5588. It's not real important, but there appears to be a disconnect.

Oh. I forgot to change the average on the web page. :o
