Is it just me, or does 0.43B always crash at game start? I have done a clean install so afaik I did not break it, yet.

Are you trying to load a save, or start a new game? And are you Vista or XP?

Start a new game and on Vista.

Unfortunately it is the Vista that is killing you. We are still looking for a solution, but right now this mod is not Vista compatible.

I am actually getting crash about 50% of the times at game start, XP, no Jotnar, patch A. Just installed patch C.

Ok, even with patch C this seems to be the pattern. FF 043 crashes if I try to run it from any other folder then 'Fall Further 043' if I create a new folder and copies the whole thing to 'Fall Further 043 INKLJOTNAR2' and changes the shortcutpath - it crashes when I try to start a game. Thusfar 100%.

Should work fine so long as you still have the original Fall Further 043 folder in addition to your working folder. I make all my changes in "\Fall Further 043 (Dev)\" and haven't had any issues there yet. It definitely needs the default directory install to exist though...

I see. At least I prepared for the bad scenario and got some books from a library.

Just performed the default installation of .43 and the patch.

I can get into FF, but as soon as I set up my game variables and try to start the game it crashes.

I am using Vista.

No problems with FFH .34h

When I started a game on Vista, I got an insane amount of python exeptions, than the game loads with no interface. (or just CTD instantly)

Start a new game and crash when I see "The Age of Ice has ended"

You need to disable the opening movie. Many people have issues with that unfortunately. I think that some have reported being able to avoid crashing if they end it manually though.

Had a similar problem in the past. When I got a video (the opening video for example) it first stuttered and than froze my computer, if I didn't cklick fast enough to skip it.

The solution for me was to set "SyncInput" in my CivilizationIV.ini from "0" to "1".
