How can you make your own custom units in civ 3, for example animations, color, textures,etc.

That's a pretty all-encompassing question. You probably want to start by deciding to try something fairly easy (not a unit unless you have some graphics experience) and reading up on some of the tutorials in the tutorials forum. Then you can try coming back with more specific questions. :) Oh, and wrong forum, this belongs in Creation and Customization forum right above this one.

General question should be asked in the main Creation & Customization forum
You can also go to the tutorial section, and read a bit before asking such a broad question.
